The lime company in Lienen run by Schencking Kalkwerke GmbH & Co. KG was initially founded in 1952 to supply the company's own calcium silicate brick factories and to overcome capacity bottlenecks at its suppliers.

Numerous industrial processes would be unthinkable without lime from Lienen. The range of products is rounded off with unburnt material, such as feed limes, fillers and fertilisers.
